This means that the installations in and on the building will generate and recover approximately as much energy as is consumed by the building-related installations. A total of approximately 1,000 solar panels will be installed on and in the building. With the application of solar panels on the facade, Somerparc aan de Amstel is leading the way, because this method is not yet widely used. To give the building a sustainable appearance, the solar panels will be beautifully incorporated into the facade.
